A family born and raised in Collina
Our story is simple, like our simple farming family from the little village of Collina.
The Filomena is named after the graceful grandmother of the family, Filomena, Guerriero's wife and the mother of Francesco, Rosalba and Letizia.
Filomena and Guerriero are an example of pure love for the whole community and they cultivate the land every season, so that there is always fresh fruit and vegetables on the table.
Devotion and respect for nature are the values that Francesco, Rosalba and Letizia have embraced and on which they founded La Filomena in 2013. They created two visitable museum rooms of rural art as a testimony to their past.
La Filomena is not just a farm stay, it is a way of life to be shared.
2013
Let us open the doors of our hearts
Francesco thought he would introduce Italy and the rest of Europe to the reality he was raised in and that saw him leave at a very young age to pursue his professional life.
And, as in every tale the hero is never alone, neither is Francesco: his sisters Rosalba and Letizia decided to stand by his side, welcoming guests and taking care of the structure.

2016
The earthquakes of Central Italy
However, in a great story, plot twists could not be missed. After only 3 years of operation, the newly renovated farmhouse was not spared by the two devastating earthquakes of 2016 and four out of five apartments were damaged. The only house available remained L’Infinito, along with the desire to go forward and never stop.
2019 - 2021
Trying to heal the wounds
During these years we built La Sibilla and La Priora apartments. We relocated the structure by separating it from the original core at a panoramic viewpoint that allows you to look far away in the distance, just as we did in order not to give up.
We were discouraged, but the desire to continue welcoming people like you to our little piece of the world was stronger than any discouragement.

2024
A crucial year
The year 2024 was a crucial year for us: a time for us to figure out whether to be in or out of the game.
Fortunately, thanks to those who once chose us and those who continue to choose us, we are still standing, and the satisfaction of our guests gives us the energy to continue sharing beauty and authenticity.

A year of waiting
This is a year of waiting in which we hope to soon be back in full swing; the main renovation is complete, but now we must focus on the details.
