The farm-stay La Filomena is a collection of accommodations located in the hamlet of Collina in the municipality of Montefortino. It is built on old ruins owned by La Filomena family and it was renovated in adherence with green building principles, including systems to generate clean energy. These features make it an energy self-sufficient structure perfectly in tune with local life.
La Filomena is a panoramic terrace on the Eastern slope of the Marche Apennines, from which you can enjoy the view of the entire Sibillini Mountains chain: from Vettore to Sybil, from Pizzo della Regina to Mount Amandola.
Nowadays hearing the voice of the inhabitants is difficult, but hearing that of nature is a daily privilege that you can experience only by visiting us.
Follow these directions to reach us by car:
Coming from Milan-Bologna:
travel along A14 highway and exit at the tollbooth of Pedaso. Continue towards Comunanza (40 minutes).
From Comunanza to Agriturismo La Filomena in Montefortino (FM) choose the route SP 237 (11 minutes, 7,4 km: the best route).
Coming from Bari-Pescara:
travel along A14 highway and exit at the tollbooth of San Benedetto del Tronto. On Google Maps enter your destination Agriturismo La Filomena, Montefortino (FM).
Follow directions to Ascoli Piceno and continue driving inland roads. The route is about 60km long (55 minutes).
Coming from Rome:
travel along Salaria SS4 towards Rieti, and then follow directions to Ascoli Piceno.
After Acqua Santa municipality, drive the SP237 towards Comunanza.
On Google Maps enter Agriturismo La Filomena, Montefortino (FM).
